This month's rabbit installment started out better than it ended... I thought the idea was awesome, the sketch was cute, but the inking killed it. The sharpie I used was EVIL. It was also the only one I had, so I had to cope. That's why the wires are kind of wiggly, and I couldn't manage to fix it with Photoshop without having to redraw the whole thing, so screw it, wiggly wires it is. Thank goodness the rabbits look fine.
I couldn't figure out how to colour this one---so I went with gradients, which is really unlike me. I like the result, though, kinda. I find the rabbits to be somewhat very lickable. Like ice cream-lickable. Mmm.
The title is very French---sometimes flocks of birds here are called "mariages d'oiseaux", which strangely means "bird weddings". I used to like the expression a lot, find it somewhat poetic and human.
Awesome. The bunnies do indeed look very lickable.
And what a great translation. Bird weddings is an amazing way to say flock of birds. : )
I think the gradients were a good idea.
So adorable, and so awesome. (I heard about that expression before; love it.)
And I think it doesn't matter if the lines/wires are wiggly - - it suits this picture fine.

A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
