This turned out probably a million times better than I expected it would... the sketch was good, but y'know... nothing more. Then I decide to try myself at Corel Painter X and I'm having so much fun I spend more time on it than I usually would on a CG, and then voila.
Florence, an original character of mine I keep wishing I'll include in a comic one day. The only thing that I find more or less convincing in this is the fabric on the umbrella. It kinda looks... rubbery. I couldn't get the right texture. I hope you like! ('Cause I do, for once!) Title's a very awesome song by Arcade Fire which I got stuck in my head the whole time I coloured this... I also uploaded a closeup of Flo's head in my Scraps!
