A little something that turned into a big one, these are Samiko (the girl) and Nathaniel (the boy), two characters from my only story that survived through the ages, Jinx. They used to be grungier than that, but hey, I grew up, and they did, too.

Samiko wears such a provocative shirt, but she so doesn't have the attire to, haha. And she'd really do that, too. Anyhow, I like the way it turned out. I haven't drawn pairs in a while, and despite the fact that Nathaniel is seen from the back, it seems convincing, to me at least. I had a lot of trouble doing it.

Title's from an old song I listened to when I was like 14... don't remember who sang it though?

i love the space above them. It really works compositionally.

I love the attitude of the two. And the way the guy is seen from the back, it sorta promotes a feeling of distance between them.

BEcause I got tired of all the Japanese names. In fact, only three keep their old names: Samiko, Ikanem and Yakouma.
