When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Some more work I did for the MERURE2 comic collective, this was my cover submission. I didn't win again, but I lost to this very awesome one, you'll see, it's worth it and I don't mind!
I'm still proud of this, though. Nowadays I find I'm stuggling with my style; lately I've been experimenting with longer, thinner body shapes, but I've been playing it safe with facial anatomy. This marks something new, I really love the way her face turned out. And I also jumped on this occasion to try out a new colouring technique: everything was shaded with pencil and I just applied flats on top. So yeah, I hope you like, because I do, for once. Oooh, I love the mix of pencil and screentone. It gives it a nice grainy feel. Lovely as always Boum. ^^
-- I don't like the word hero, it doesn't suit me, I guess you can consider me a villain that fights other villains.~ Don Paolo Read Don Paolo: TSoV --> [link] Nice work. It's fun you mention that you've been struggling with you style. I've been wanting to work in a more cartoon look myself. Something much less detailed oriented, like much of my artwork is.
-- "What the fuck you talkin' about. I'm talkin' about piss and shit and your talkin' about so stupid Japanese show I don't give a fuck about!" Looks really interesting. I love those birds, and the screentonish effects!
