Happy New Year!

I'm kicking this off with the January pin-up from my 2010 calendar! Just in case you hadn't seen her yet...

She's far from being my favourite out of the thirteen. Her arms look too short compared to her super long legs, I wanted to twist her left knee to make it more interesting but it doesn't look like it's intentional and just seems warped instead, and the colours didn't turn out the way I wanted. I thought she looked kinda Indian so I'd given her warm dark skin, but since I wanted a cold colour scheme for January, I played with the colours and now she doesn't look Indian anymore. Damn.

I still like her face and her feet though. Drawing soles is a big deal for me.

Anyway, I hope you like it still! And you know, it's still not too late to buy the calendar...

I love her tats - she looks so cold, why she'd forget to wear a jacket? XD jk, jk.

I like how you coloured these, the effects are really nice on how it make it look like its marker or watercolour.
