Kiss me - I hate you

I guess I had to catch back on the happy sunny picture I submitted yesterday with another dark and depressing drawing...

It's Jo, a character I designed for ~enjeru's story (go read! It rocks! [link] ). The girl, I mean. The man in the back is a complete stranger I made up just for the picture.

I had plenty of titles for this one...

"Making love to one already dead" [quoting "Lovely Ladies" from Les Misérables]
"Make money in your sleep" [same here]
"Easy money lying on a bed" [same here]
"The hate in my head"
Etc. etc. I could go on forever.

So yeah... the girl's a prostitute. I guess it's obvious on her face that she's submissively letting him do whatever he wants. And she's become so used to it that... sex does nothing to her anymore. It's just a way of making money. It's just her job.

Red is the colour of passion... but also the colour of anger. I guess both come in action in this picture.
