When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Artist's Comments Way too many hours have been put into this baby... woah. I owe =kengiroo that drawing since July, I think. I really wanted to do something big, so I spent a lot of time on the lineart, started it over a few times because the angle was too complex. Then school started and this was on hiatus because I didn't want to rush it in-between all the homework. I guess waiting that long was a good thing because it looks better than it would have last summer  Colouring it was also difficult and long. I restarted the wood textures ten times or something because it never ended up like I wanted it to (it still doesn't, but it's not that bad I suppose). To make things worse, my computer died on me yesterday evening while I was finishing it up so I lost a part of it I had to start up again. Yay! I don't know why the machine still works this morning... There are probably several angle and lighting errors but hey, bear with me, I haven't drawn anything like this in ages. Plus I've drawn the ship only relying on my memory and I know I'm not a pro when it comes to ships. (Thanks to Dreamworks' Sinbad, it didn't turn out that bad, heh.)  yé vraiment tres chouette, le seul truc qui me bogue beaucoup c'est une des deux cordes, qui prend un genre de freegame vers le haut du dessin et que la oups le cordage s'inverse? c'est p-e moi qui a pas compris de quoi, mais en dehors de ca c'est tiguidou. tu t'es pas simplifiée la vue en choisissant cet angle de vue là...
 la mer est vraiment belle...  Super angle de vue! full Dynamique! C'est con mais je trouve que la planche relevée ajoute beaucoup! Il y a un truc étrange qui se passe avec son coude gache et le mat. comme c'est dessiné on dirait que son coude est passeé au travers du mat.
Mais c'est pas mal tout! Numéro 1!  whee! Ca donne le vertige!

Peut-être juste que le gant proche de sa tête est pas mal foncé et de la même couleur que son bandeau....faque ont le discerne pas super bien...................mais c'est pas ton personnage que t'a marqué dans ton comment.......faque j'imagine que les couleurs étaient déjà pas mal fixé d'avance!!!

I litterally almost gagged on the couscous I was eating when I saw this, it's that good  I am really enjoying the angle, so special o.o Must've been very difficult to draw! If there are any errors in this I don't see them  And anyway, this is a bit of a styelised angle, you did it perfectly! I love the water too  .And I don't think the muse ever looked so pretty before EVAH!!! I mean, GAH, gorgeous . (I can assure you he's flattered, by the way  ).Aw jeeez, thenk you!!! You did a wonderful job on this, fantastic! It shure is worth the wait  .Absolutley, absolutley beautiful  <3Fav, ofcourse, and I'm going to feature it in my journal  .
