Bound to Earth

Hey, that's my first official drawing for 2008... holy crap, I need to draw more often.

Well, I finished EarthBound for the first time last week, so I thought I'd pay a great game a little homage! I bring you Ness, Paula, Jeff and Poo, the four protagonists in a super dynamic pose!

I liked the game... it isn't the best RPG I ever tried (I didn't like the battle system), but I enjoyed the parody. I guess you really have to play lots of RPGs to enjoy most of the jokes, haha. "You engage the New Age Retro Hippie Guy!" And all the stupid useless items... and the playable ending was a nice touch.

This oddly looks like I didn't make it... it feels like a weird mix between American cartoons and chibis. I'm not quite sure why. It was rather quick so there's a few mistakes here and there (lighting incoherences mainly), but I'm glad I got it out of my system, and it doesn't look half bad.

No, I don't know how to draw bazookas. And there wasn't any picture of it in the dictionary!
