Fatal Attraction

This, you might have guessed, is my dark and sensual rendition of Snow White! I just got this random idea while driving over to Disney World, last May, that it'd be neat to play around with contrasted shadows, heavy blacks, reds and whites and whatnot. I also drew this for my 100 Theme Challenge, as #56: Biohazard. I like to interpret the themes loosely...

No matter the film or illustration, Snow White always bites in the perfect apple so intensely, it almost becomes sexual... which makes it ever more interesting. So yeah. She's naked. D:

I had a lot of fun playing around with this. It's not perfect, but I'm satisfied, especially since I did the whole colouring in one sitting (in a little less than five hours), which is a rare thing for me. Plus, going all paintery with Photoshop is not my cup of tea just yet. I'm still learning! (And by the way, that hand pose is unnecessarily complex but it's totally doable! I always make things so complicated for nothing...)

I saved a bunch of progress shots for this, so I'll probably upload a step-by-step version in my Scraps, but not now, it's past midnight and I'm tired of staring at a screen...
